Telegram received from Hong Kong, June 7, 1909.-(Communicated by Mr. C. Addis, June 8, 1909.)
PEKING wires 6th June: Have initialled final agreement to-day inserting clause in terms of our telegram of 30th May. We have obtained written assurance Chang Chih Tung that nomination British and Chinese Corporation (Limited) will be accepted, provided J. O. P. Bland not reinstated. With reference to foregoing, final agreement will be signed after Imperial Edict received, probably in about one week.
